I’m pretty new to the hobby, but I’m hoping to share some of what I’m learning about it here, in addition to info about some of my finds.

My Gear
- Detector
- Hand sized digging tool
- Nail belt for carrying my finds
- 2 caribeaner clips
- clip 1 is for holding my garbage collection bag
- clip 2 is for my recyclable items bag
- 4 plastic shopping bags
- Bag 1 is to put garbage (paper, food wrappers ... etc.) that I come across in
- bag 2 is for glass bottles or other recyclable items that won’t fit in my nail belt
- bag 3 is to give me someplace to put the plug I dig out that will be easy to pick it up and put it back
- Bag 4 is in case of rain and I need to protect my detector from getting wet.
